Star Stream

UPDATE DECEMBER 8 2025- Star Stream 3D page created. See link below. This page will house all of the multimedia related to 3D modelling, Virtual Reality, and machinima assets as they are created or updated. I explained most of what I was working on in the September update. The fruits of that labor can be seen on the new page. It is a MASSIVE update. Far too big for one single update log. CHECK IT OUT!

UPDATE SEPT 30 2025- Here we are in another September. It may seem like the book has stalled, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. It turns out, I like to create more than just words on the page when it comes to developing this world. For over a year now, I’ve been learning how to 3d Model in Blender. While that might be an achievement in itself, I’ve also been using that learning experience and creating more content. I have developed and made fully animated and textured 3D renders of both main characters. The more time consuming feat was creating, from scratch, the main character’s starship from the series, the Firebird. And while I could have stopped there, I have not only completed the prototype build, but I’ve managed to learn how to use Unity as well. I’m 75% into the progress of programming and testing a fully functional Firebird in first person and Virtual Reality game engines. This means that when I am done, you will be able to explore this and my upcoming environments from the comfort of your desktop, or in the free program VRChat. I currently have a test version of Agent September fully uploaded into the game and useable as an Avatar in VR and on Desktop. This work will continue, so that as the book nears completion, I will add more and more content to these 3D worlds for exploration. There will be an archive, where you can browse character bios and world building literature, as well as a lounge where you can just hang out in decorated settings derived directly from the locations in the narrative. I can almost assure that another update is coming, and you will not have to wait until next September.

UPDATE SEPT 19 2024- Exactly one year since my last update. The work continues! I’ve been very busy this past year with unavoidable life issues. A crippling vacation injury, child-rearing, and other responsibilities have slowed my progress, but I’ve managed to keep moving, albeit at a slow pace. I have up to 18 of a planned 30 chapters written, just need to be polished, and I’ve been steadily creating concept artwork and fleshing out details of the story behind the scenes. These types of thing include a “bible” so to speak, for the lore of the universe in which the story takes place, with a time-line constructed of all the important events. Others are ship and character designs that I’ve been working on, as well as how certain planets and destinations should look and feel when I write them into the story. So that’s about it for this update, just know that I’m past the half way mark on the written page, and well ahead of the curve with background details that will ultimately help me write towards the end of the narrative at a faster pace.

UPDATE SEPT 19 2023- Closing in on 15 chapters, half of the book completed. Initiated construction of a new page for lots of new artwork including Character Bios, Ships, Locales, Settings etc. Link below will take you to the page under construction.

UPDATE JULY 06 2023- There is a new blog post showcasing concept art. Thank you all for being so patient. I’d like to give an update. Shortly after my last post in October of 2022, my Wife gave birth to our beautiful baby girl. It’s been a very busy time for me and I haven’t been able to keep up with this website. However, I do look to be getting back into the swing of things and posting regular content. While the teaser below is still the initial 3 chapters, I have since written 8 additional chapters to bring the total to 11. I have even gone back and revised some of the work in the initially posted teaser. When I have a chance I will post some of my progress.
