My name is Steven.
ABOUT ME:
From a young age I found myself being an explorer, from drawing maps to wandering the woods.
As a young adult I spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy repairing radar jammers. During my enlistment I was stationed at Pensacola Florida and Whidbey Island Washington Naval Air Stations, and deployed on the U.S.S. Enterprise (CVN-65).
Additionally, I hold a Bachelors of Science in Geology from Lamar University, and I completed my summer Field Geology course at Southern Utah University in August of 2013.
My day job is working with electronics as an Engineer. Yet I want to do more. I have always been a dreamer with a creative mind, and now I have this place.
TRAVEL AND GEOLOGY:
One of my greatest passions is the field of Earth and Space sciences. And if you combine that with my passion for writing then you end up with where I am now. To that end, my content will have a particular focus on traditional earthbound geology, as well as scientific information about the far reaches of the cosmos. While it is not yet possible to explore outer space in person, I do enjoy traveling the planet we live on. Therefore, you’ll notice a theme of exploration, creativity, and a passing on what I’ve learned throughout my content.
FICTION, SCI FI, CREATIVE WRITING:
I think that entertainment also fits hand in hand with education. Because of where my interests lie, my creative side will gravitate to the same subjects. There are plenty of stories that exist in my mind and I now have a place to share them. My creative writing will showcase excerpts from my other works in fiction and I will also create and share concept art. I have created Star Stream specifically for this website to give readers something to look forward to and enjoy. I hope you like it. Just remember, this is only the beginning.
